Common Pests in Seville

Gilbert's desert climate and proximity to undeveloped land creates year-round pest pressure for Seville residents. Bark scorpions are the primary concern — they're venomous and common throughout Pinal and Maricopa counties. Regular professional treatment is the most reliable way to keep your home protected.

Local Pest Facts

• Seville's championship golf course and extensive water features create moisture-rich habitat that attracts mosquitoes, roof rats, and the insects bark scorpions feed on — sustaining pest populations throughout the year.
• Custom homes in Seville often have more complex rooflines, larger attic spaces, and more landscaping than standard tract homes — all of which provide additional entry points and harborage for roof rats and scorpions.
• Seville's proximity to the Gila River corridor means seasonal pest migrations are common, particularly during monsoon season when flooding pushes pests out of riparian areas and into adjacent neighborhoods.
